Created and conceived by Ineke Ruhland, After My Own Heart is the first fragrance from the house of Ineke and is dedicated to that uncanny feeling of ‘finding yourself’, romantically or physically, in the perfect place. Delicate lilac blossoms are layered against lush greenery and juicy raspberries, before settling on a comforting and familiar base of sandalwood and musk with soft, almond-scented heliotrope for added depth.

As one of a small number of classically trained perfumers worldwide, Ineke uses a time-honoured approach to creating new scents. In her perfumery studio, she works with notes such as lilac, magnolia, angel’s trumpet and peony for her eau de parfums. An avid gardener, she also draws inspiration from her collection of rare scented botanicals. Her passion for literature, design and the arts is reflected in every bottle. Through original photos, beautiful artwork and snippets of verse, Ineke weaves an intimate story for each fragrance. With seven fragrances to date, the Ineke line appeals to those with a refined appreciation for unique scents.
